Our Initiative

The Big Island Beekeepers Association has initiated a campaign to “Save the Bees Hawaii”.  

 

Our objective is to reach out to beekeepers island wide to share our problems and successes, and ideas and hopes for the future of beekeeping.

 

With knowledge of these concerns, we hope to be able to respond with a plan that will help ensure the welfare of our bees for years to come.

Through education we hope to raise the awareness of the public to the fascinating world of bees, and their crucial importance to agriculture and our economy.  

 

We’re here to preach and teach mindful and responsible bee husbandry, as we feel this is our best hope to save the bees.
